BEST NIAGARA FALLS TOURS ATTRACTIONS

Let’s face it, Canada not only has the better view of Niagara Falls, we also have the best attractions and activities!

Whether you’re taking a guided tour or checking out the sights on your own, below are some of the best attractions Niagara Falls has to offer that you’ll want to check out.

Niagara Falls tour attractions

NIAGARA FALLS BOAT TOUR

We couldn’t start a best Niagara Falls attractions list with anything else. It’s usually the most searched for and sought after ticket in town for good reason. It's also one of the wildest Niagara Falls tours attractions available and widely considered to be the best of the Niagara Falls boat tours.

Ever since The Maid of the Mist was first launched on May 27th, 1846 (1), a Niagara Falls boat tour has been a common sight around Niagara Falls.

These days it’s a thrilling boat ride up close and personal to the falls operated by Niagara Hornblower Cruises and is as popular as ever.

We feature this attraction on several of our Niagara Falls tours packages.

JOURNEY BEHIND THE FALLS

Not a fan of boats but still want to get as close as possible?

Take a Journey Behind Niagara Falls and feel the roar of 5.9 million cubic feet of water going over the crest every minute. (2)

It’s one of the most unique views you’ll ever get to see and it’s included on several of our all-inclusive Niagara Falls tours.

NIAGARA FALLS POWER STATION

This historic landmark is as impressive looking as it is fascinating.

By the time ground was first broken on May 23rd 1901, it was well underway to becoming an achievement in engineering and architecture. (3)

These days, guests are welcomed inside for Niagara Falls power plant tours to experience the towering turbines and hear many great stories about the stations past and present.

SKYLON TOWER

This 520 foot tower has been an icon of the Niagara Falls skyline ever since it first opened in 1965. (4)

Today, visitors can take a ride up an exterior elevator to enjoy a bird’s eye aerial view of the falls and the city.

This is where we decided to start our most popular Wonder walking tour of Niagara Falls.

Learn more about the Skylon Tower here.

NIAGARA FALLS TUNNEL EXPERIENCE

One of the newest attractions in Niagara Falls to experience.

It’s one of the newest attractions in Niagara Falls, opening July 2022, but word quickly spread about how neat it is to explore a century old 2,198 foot tunnel that finishes with a spectacular view of Niagara Falls.

WHITE WATER WALK

1 part gentle walk + 1 part class 6 rapids = one heck of an experience.

The White Water Walk gives you a chance to witness the power and peril of the Niagara River from a safe distance. Walk along the boardwalk with several viewing platforms which allow an even closer look.

MAPLE LEAF PLACE

What’s more Canadian than Maple Leafs and Maple Syrup? You get a little of both at Maple Leaf Place.

Enjoy a complimentary demonstration and maple syrup tasting and have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs and have a little lunch.

It’s the perfect place to finish after an adventurous walking tour of Niagara Falls!

There are many other unique things to do in Niagara Falls not included on our walking tours (e.g. Go Karts, SkyWheel, Zipline, Upside Down House, Butterfly Conservatory, Bird Kingdom, Whirlpool Jet Boats, Magic Shows, etc.,) but I think you’ll agree there is a lot of overlap between the best attractions on our tours and the best attractions period!

Walk Niagara Tours offers all-inclusive walking tours of Niagara Falls. Our tour guides lead groups 7 days a week between April and November.
