IS 1 DAY ENOUGH TO VISIT NIAGARA FALLS CANADA?
In our opinion, because there is so much you can see and do during a visit to Niagara Falls Canada, 1 day is not enough.
However, if 1 day in Niagara Falls is all you have, we have ideas about how you can plan a day trip that makes the most of your time!
SUGGESTED ITINERARY FOR 1 DAY VISIT TO NIAGARA FALLS CANADA
8:30 – Best of Niagara Falls tour
Our best of Niagara Falls Canada tour is the best way to experience all the best Niagara Falls has to offer in a relatively short amount of time.
During this 2.5 hour tour you will get to experience both a Journey Behind The Falls and the best Niagara Falls boat tour along with a fully guided tour of all the important historical landmarks.
11:30 - Lunch with a falls view
The tour wraps up at a perfect time, making lunch the natural next thing to do.
As part of what you receive by booking a tour with us, you will receive 10% off food and souvenirs at the Secret Garden Restaurant which has a gorgeous patio view of the Falls.
Other recommend places to eat with a view of Niagara Falls:
Niagara Falls Canada is home to dozens of wonderful dining options both with and without a view of Niagara Falls.
1:00 - Skylon Tower
When you book the best of Niagara Falls tour, you also receive a ticket to access the Skylon Tower observation deck that can be used any time during your visit.
After you’ve refreshed and recharged with lunch, now is the perfect time to take a ride up the elevator for spectacular views high above Niagara Falls. On clear days you can see all the way to Toronto!
2:30 - Enjoy more sights and attractions
Now that you’ve experienced the top 3 attractions in Niagara Falls Canada, the afternoon is when you can look at enjoying some more of the hidden gems Niagara Falls offers.
You can check out the Niagara Falls Bird Kingdom (especially popular among kids) try Ziplining (a great way for couples to bond with a thrill), take in a movie at Legends of Niagara, do some souvenir shopping at places like Niagara Parks gift shops and Rock World, grab a Canadian treat at Beavertails and perhaps a fun scare at Nightmares Fear Factory.
Some of these ideas (and many more) can be found along Clifton Hill which is where couples, groups and families love to spend a lot of time while in Niagara Falls.
6:00 - Dinner
We mentioned some dining options with a falls view earlier, but as mentioned Niagara Falls has a ton of good restaurant options.
To name a few of our personal favorites:
- Frontier BBQ (all you can eat!)
- Kasbah Mediterranean
- Kelsey’s
- Boston Pizza (kids love the arcade!)
- Taco and Tequila
- The Works
8:00 - Dessert
Maple Syrup isn’t the only thing sweet Canada has to offer, quite the opposite!
Pick up some homemade fudge and peanut brittle from Reg’s Candy Kitchen, grab an ice cream cone, churro or beavertail on Clifton Hill.
9:00 - End the day with a view
The perfect end to a day in Niagara Falls is with a gentle ride on the Niagara SkyWheel, which around this time of day offers a sunset view or city lights.
Niagara Falls is visible from the SkyWheel as well which if it’s dark enough will be colorfully lit.
Feel free to use this itinerary as it’s laid out or use it as a starting point to help customize your preferred experienced.
Either way, while 1 day may not be entirely enough to enjoy everything Niagara Falls offers, if you plan it right you can absolutely make the 1 day you have absolutely incredible.
