NIAGARA FALLS TOURS IN THE SPRING

Spring is an amazingly beautiful time of year in most parts of the world, but none more so than in a place with four seasons like Niagara Falls Canada.

Watching winter snow melt into spring flowers is nothing short of spectacular.

Niagara Falls offers a front row seat to these transformations in the picturesque parks that you can stroll through all day long.

Niagara Falls tours in the spring

What is the best way to enjoy it all you ask? A guided walking tour of course! ;)

Read below to see what packages Walking Niagara Tours can offer you to maximize your time here in Niagara Falls.

THE BEST NIAGARA FALLS TOUR PACKAGES IN THE SPRING

All of our Niagara Falls tours are available starting in May each season. They include coupon packages for other attractions in and around Niagara Falls valued at over $150!

For instance, our most popular tour package, the Niagara Falls Adventure Tour, is 2.5 hours, jam packed with fun and amazing things. This tour includes the Journey Behind the Falls and the Niagara Falls boat Tour.

We do private Niagara Falls tours as well!

Here are a few reasons why we blow the competition out of the water (pun intended):

  1. Informative: Not only are you getting the best VIP tour of the area, but you are also learning about the history with guides who have been in the business a long time and know their stuff.

  2. All-Inclusive: This means that once you pay for your tour, everything is taken care of and all that you have to worry about is enjoying yourself and where you might want to eat afterwards.

  3. Guided by locals: The NUMBER ONE reason to book a tour through Walk Niagara Tours, is that the guides are local experts! Born and raised in the Niagara Region, you won’t find tour guides that know the area better than us.

WHEN DO SEASONAL ATTRACTIONS OPEN EACH SPRING IN NIAGARA FALLS?

Are you feeling adventurous?

The Zip Line over the Falls is open mid-February

Niagara Falls boat tours open as soon as the ice is clear and things are safe. This varies each year but almost always open by the long weekend in May each spring.

Most other attractions are open all year round, such as the Journey behind the Falls (lower viewing platform often closed during the winter months when ice is a risk) and the Skylon Tower.

The hiking trails at the Niagara Glen Nature Center are accessible as of Victoria Day weekend (the third weekend in May) and give the nature lover a chance to see the Niagara River up close.

IS SPRING A GOOD TIME TO VISIT NIAGARA FALLS CANADA?

Is this even a question is more like it! Spring time is a beautiful time to visit Niagara Falls. The weather changes from day to day with March typically being about 5C (41F), April getting to the mid-teens and May getting as warm as 19C (66F).

SPRING EVENTS IN NIAGARA FALLS

As you will hear from your tour guide, the city of Niagara Falls has beautiful fireworks display that happens every night starting in the month of May, right over the Falls.

Spring is also the BEST time to visit the Botanical Gardens located along the parkway. For Mother’s Day, take mom on a walking tour with us and then surprise her with beautiful flowers before taking her out for lunch. You don’t even have to tell her it was our idea!

An area favorite event (not in Niagara Falls, but a short drive away), is the Tulip Pick Farm located at 1415 Balfour St. - Fenwick, Ontario

Walk Niagara Tours offers all-inclusive walking tours of Niagara Falls. Our tour guides lead groups 7 days a week between April and November.
