WHERE TO PARK FOR NIAGARA FALLS TOURS
So you’ve done your research, booked the best Niagara Falls tour and while getting excited for the big day you suddenly realize “oh shoot, where do we park?”
This is one of the most common questions people ask us about visiting Niagara Falls Canada. We hope this page provides all the information you’re looking for but if not please do not hesitate to email us for more details and we’ll be happy to help!
PARKING FOR OUR NIAGARA FALLS TOURS
Our daily guided tours of Niagara Falls begin at the Niagara Parks Welcome Centre located at 5146 Murray St.
Since our tours begin earlier in the day, there is almost always ample parking available within a stone’s throw of where we meet at either:
PARKING AT QUEEN VICTORIA PLACE
Address: 6345 Niagara River Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON L2E 6S6
Cost: $35 per day (subject to change)
Number of spots: 40
Procedure: park first then purchase a ticket from a nearby kiosk
SKYLON TOWER PARKING LOT A AND B
Address: 5200 Robinson St, Niagara Falls, ON L2G 2J3
Cost: Between $10 - $20 per day (subject to change, based on season)
Number of spots: 185 (lot A), 300+ (lot B)
Procedure: Pay parking attendant on way in and leave ticket on your dashboard
Are you staying at a nearby by hotel?
Then the meeting spot might be well within walking distance so you may be able to simply leave your car where it is and save some hassle and money.
WHERE TO PARK TO VIEW NIAGARA FALLS?
Not taking a tour and just coming for the best view of Niagara Falls?
While there are plenty of parking lots available to visitors, the closest and largest (and thus the best) parking lot to use would be the Falls Parking Lot A located at 6635 Niagara Parkway.
A few things to know:
- Open year round
- No parking overnight
- You will receive a ticket from an automated machine to get in and then pay with on your way out
Are you a local?
You can purchase an annual parking pass for 1 low cost and enjoy parking at any of these Niagara Parks parking lots all year round.
IS THERE PARKING AT JOURNEY BEHIND THE FALLS?
The Journey Behind The Falls attraction is offered on our tours (view meeting location and parking info above) but if your plan is to experience this attraction on your own, here’s what you need to know about parking:
The Journey Behind The Falls is located at 6650 Niagara Parkway which means access to it is inside the Table Rock Welcome Centre (that big beautiful building right on the brink of the Canadian Horseshoe Falls).
It also means the best and closest parking lot is Niagara Falls Parking Lot A, located right across the street at 6635 Niagara Parkway.
There is no parking available at the Table Rock Welcome Centre itself.
NIAGARA FALLS CANADA BOAT TOUR PARKING
We include this all-time favorite attraction on each of our daily Niagara Falls tours.
If you haven’t booked a tour and the Niagara Falls boat tour is your first planned stop of your itinerary, parking can be a bit tricky since there is no parking lot at the attraction itself.
The most convenient nearby lot would probably be the Clifton Hill parking lot. It’s a bit pricy and a bit of a walk to the boat tour but it’s probably the simplest.
Alternatively you can punch in the boat tour address into your phone (5920 Niagara Parkway) to see what’s nearby.
IS THERE FREE PARKING IN NIAGARA FALLS CANADA?
Yes and no. While you’ll be hard pressed to find parking that you don’t need to pay for in Niagara Falls Canada, here are some ways that you can park for free:
- Sign up for a card and play a bit at one of the Casinos to earn free parking in their self-serve lots. Casino Niagara has 1,500 spaces and Fallsview Casino Resort has 2,500 spaces
- Many nearby hotels include parking of 1 vehicle per room for the overnight guests
- Parking is free at White Water Walk, and Whirlpool Aero Car for guests of these attractions
- Many restaurants offer free parking for patrons dining with them
