Who can come on the tour?

Our walking tour is recommended for guests 10 years and older who are able to walk approximately 1 hour (but not all at once!).

There are hills, stairs and ramps to negotiate during our time together. Unfortunately, younger children, strollers, walkers and wheelchairs require additional consideration that we are not equipped to provide at this time.

Is it rain or shine?

Yes. We strongly recommend you check the weather forecast for the day of your walking tour and prepare accordingly.

During the summer most people bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and in the chance of rain a rain coat and umbrella. In the event of hazardous or extreme weather that prevents a tour from taking place, we will contact all registrants with more information about next steps (pun intended).

Yup! Each person will receive a rain poncho at both the Journey Behind the Falls and Niagara Falls boat tour attractions to help keep you dry.

We also have a number of complimentary umbrellas for our guests to use between attractions if it's rainy.

Are all the listed attractions included in the registration price?

Absolutely! This is an all-inclusive walking tour! All cost of admissions to each attraction is included in your regitration payment.

We also handle the logistics of getting your tickets. Everything is taken care of for you. All you need to do is show up on time ready for a great tour experience! :)

What size groups do you allow?

You can book a tour for groups of any size and we will be happy to accommodate. We also offer private tours if you're interested in an exclusive VIP tour experience.

Is food included on the tour?

Food is not included on the tour but some of our tour participants choose to bring light and portable snacks with them to consume along the way.

Also, we strongly recommend lunch at the Maple Leaf Place for those who attend this attraction at the end of each tour.

Where do we meet? How do we get there? Is there parking available?

We either meet at the base of the Skylon Tower located at 5200 Robinson Street in Niagara Falls or the Murray Hill Welcome Centre located at 5146 Murray St. depending on which tour you select.

The Skylon Tower offers on site all day paid parking (not included). Due to the central location of our meeting locations, many participants are able to walk over from their nearby hotels.

What is your refund policy?

We understand that unfortunate things can happen to cause you to have to miss your tour.

We offer full money back refunds to anyone who chooses to cancel their scheduled tour up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour time.

Cancellations inside of 24 hours of your scheduled tour time are not refundable. Contact us through email at and we may be able to help by either re-scheduling your tour or provide a voucher for a future tour booking.

Are there bathrooms and ATMs along the way?

Yes, of course! There will be an opportunity to use a bathroom at every stop along the way and an ATM if you need cash for souvenir shopping later on.

Is a tour guide gratuity included in the walking tour registration cost?

No. We feel that any tips given to your guide should be based on their customer service and your overall level of enjoyment.

Customary tipping is 15% of the tour price but that is just a guideline in case it helps anyone. The amount you decide to tip is up to you!

What language is the walking tour? Do you offer multiple languages?

Our walking tours are in English only. We have plans to offer multiple languages in the future.

Do you provide private walking tours?

Yes we do. You can email us and let’s see if we can make it work! There is a premium charge for the private service to be discussed at time of planning.

What if one of the attractions is closed due to mechanical issues or weather?

In the event of a mechanical issue (i.e. elevator temporarily out of order etc.,) or inclement weather we will do our best to substitute another attraction or provide a hard copy of the tickets to the closed attraction so the customer can return at a later time on their own.

We will always strive to accommodate everyone, but Walk Niagara Tours is not responsible for situations that are out of our control.

"Nothing is more refreshing than genuine kindness. To Mr. Dave Plato, Just wanted to thank you properly for the extra mile you went in seeing my grandchildren had a great day in Niagara Falls. Your kindness and efforts will long be remembered. Thank you so much."
