IS NIAGARA FALLS CANADA SAFE AT NIGHT?

Like any tourist destination, there are some areas that are safer than others. Using common sense like staying in well lit areas and areas that include security officers, travelers can safely navigate their way through a city by staying alert and in groups, rather than walking alone.

The lights illuminating the Falls turn off at 1:00 am or 2:00 am depending on the time of year; however, street lamps and lights from various hotels, casinos and restaurants keep most streets well-lit and easily walkable. Niagara Falls, Canada is generally a very safe city, but it’s still advisable to use good judgement when visiting a new place.
