NIAGARA FALLS TOURS IN THE FALL

Thanks in part to the beautifully maintained green spaces along the Niagara River, Niagara Falls Canada is one of the best places to enjoy the crisp beauty of the autumn season.

Another reason why Niagara Falls is a great place to visit in the Fall? Our all-inclusive attraction + guided tour packages are available until late November! :)

WHY NIAGARA FALLS TOURS IN THE FALL?

When you think of booking a Niagara Falls tour and imagine a warm summer day we don’t blame you.

Niagara Falls is a very popular summer destination but word is starting to spread about how great it is to visit during other times of the year like spring, winter and yes, fall as well.

Let’s look at some of the reasons why fall may actually be the best time for you to visit Niagara Falls and book a tour.

1. All attractions open. Niagara Falls does not stop after Labor Day, far from it! All attractions remain open throughout the fall including all attractions offered on our Best of Niagara Falls tour package (the boat cruise, journey behind the falls and the Skylon Tower).

2. Less crowds and shorter lines. You can avoid the lines by booking our earlier tour start times during the summer, or choose to visit in the Fall when lines are less of a concern.

3. Potentially cheaper. Some hotels, tour companies and attractions offer lower “off season” rates outside of the peak summer months. If you’re able to visit in September, October or November, you may end up spending less than you anticipated.

4. Not as hot. Yes it gets hot in Niagara Falls Canada. In fact some days during the summer can be full out scorchers (which is one of the reasons we schedule our tours in the morning before the hottest times of the day). Booking your visit and tour in the fall usually means more moderate temperatures to enjoy. More on this below.

5. Nearby ghost tours. Niagara is rich in history and rich history inspires ghostly tales and experiences. If you plan to visit the Niagara area for a few nights in the fall, we recommend considering one of the nearby ghost tours while you’re here.

They’re a wonderful addition to spooky season! :)

6. Wonderful fall events. There is always so much going on in the Niagara region during the fall. Take a short drive to a neighboring town or city to enjoy more fall inspired events that Niagara has to offer.

BEST SPOTS IN NIAGARA FALLS DURING THE FALL

There is an abundance of beauty pretty much anywhere you go in Niagara Falls during the fall but if you’re wondering where some of the best places are to check out while you’re here, we suggest:

These gorgeous locations are worthwhile at any time of year, but get an extra jolt when the leaves are changing.

WHATS THE WEATHER LIKE IN NIAGARA FALLS CANADA IN THE FALL?

The average temperatures in Niagara Falls Canada during October are around 15 degrees Celsius / 59 degrees Fahrenheit (high) and 7 degrees Celsius / 45 degrees Fahrenheit (low).

Typical rainfall is moderate.

The sun sets earlier compared to the summer which means more time to enjoy the Falls when they’re lit up at night.

In conclusion, if you’re at all concerned about visiting Niagara Falls Canada during the fall for any reason, I hope this information shows you that you have nothing to worry about.

In fact, visiting in the fall could very well be better and cheaper!
